GRACE IS UNMERITED FAVOR; YOU CAN’T EARN IT, WORK FOR IT, PAY FOR IT OR DESERVE IT.

GRACE IS AN ANTITHESIS TO WORK.
(Rom 11:6) “And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”

TO HIM WHO WORKS, THE WAGES ARE NOT COUNTED AS GRACE BUT AS DEBT.
(Rom 4:4-5) “Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness”

SALVATION IS BY GRACE; A GIFT OF GOD–NOT BY WORKS.
(Eph 2:8) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

GRACE AND TRUTH CAME THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
John 1:17) “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS, WE RECEIVE GOD’S ABUNDANT PROVISION OF GRACE ,OF THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND WE REIGN IN LIFE.
(Rom 5:17b) “Those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.”

THE “GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE” WAS REVEALED BY THE RESURRECTED CHRIST TO THE APOSTLE PAUL; IT IS A CHRIST-ORIENTED AND A CHRIST-EXALTING DOCTRINE.
(Gal 1:11-12) “I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.”
(Act 20:24) “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the Gospel of God’s Grace.”

THE GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE IS THE WORD OF TRUTH.
(Col 1:5b-6) “You have already heard about in the WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.

THE NEW COVENANT THAT CHRIST MEDIATED WITH THE FATHER IS A COVENANT OF GRACE. CHRISTIANS ARE NOT UNDER LAW (OLD COVENANT) BUT UNDER GRACE (NEW COVENANT).
(Rom 6:14-15) “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? CERTAINLY NOT!”

UNDER THE NEW COVENANT, THE THRONE OF GOD IS REFERRED TO AS THE “THRONE OF GRACE”
(Heb 4:16) “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

BELIEVERS ARE ADMONISHED TO GROW IN THE GRACE AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
(2Pe 3:18) “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”

BELIEVERS ARE ADMONISHED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR HEARTS BY GRACE.
(Heb 13:9) “Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. it is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them.”

BELIEVERS ARE ADMONISHED TO SET THEIR HOPE FULLY UPON THE GRACE OF GOD.
(1Pet 1:13b) “Set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

BELIEVERS WERE ENTRUSTED TO GOD AND TO THE “WORD OF HIS GRACE”.
(Act 20:32) “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the Word of His Grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

GRACE IS A GOOD TEACHER, IT WILL NEVER TEACH YOU TO VIOLATE GOD’S LAW.
(Tit 2:11-13) “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ”
