THE KEY TO ALL OF GOD’S PROVISIONS IS “RIGHTEOUSNESS”, AND IT IS SOMETHING WE DON’T HAVE AND CAN NEVER HAVE ON OUR OWN. UNDER LAW (OLD COVENANT – Deut 4:13), PERFECT OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW IS REQUIRED, HOWEVER, NO ONE WAS ABLE TO COMPLY WITH IT. UNDER GRACE (NEW COVENANT – Heb 8:6-13), RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A GIFT; THIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD COMES THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS TO ALL WHO BELIEVE.
(Rom 3:21) But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
(Rom 3:22-24) This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

(Rom 4:4-5) “Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, HIS FAITH IS CREDITED AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

RECEIVING HIS GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BY FAITH MAKES YOU RIGHTEOUS IN GOD’S SIGHT AND THEREFORE QUALIFIES YOU TO ALL OF GOD’S PROVISIONS; FOR THIS REASON THE “ALL THESE THINGS” IN THIS VERSE SHALL BE ADDED TO YOU.
(Mat 6:33) “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT IN CHRIST, YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD!
(2Cor 5:21) “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

HERE ARE SOME PROMISES MEANT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS.
(Psalm 55:22) “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.”
(Pro. 3:33) “The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.”
(Pro. 13:21) “Misfortune pursues the sinner, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.
(Pro. 13:22b) “A sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.”
(Prov. 15:29) “The Lord is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.”
(Psalm 1:6a) “The Lord watches over the way of the righteous.”
(Psalm 5:12) “For surely, o Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.”
(Psalm 34:17) “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.”
(Pro. 10:6) “Blessings crown the head of the righteous.”

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!
