THE SAME SIN THAT HAS BEEN IMPUTED IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TWO THOUSAND YEARS AGO CAN NOT BE IMPUTED IN YOU TODAY, IF YOU ARE IN CHRIST. ONE OF THE PROMISES THAT GOD MADE UNDER THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE, MEDIATED BY CHRIST WITH THE FATHER, WAS, “I WILL FORGIVE THEIR WICKEDNESS AND WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE; NO MORE BECAUSE HE USED TO REMEMBER IT UNDER THE OLD COVENANT OF THE LAW.
(2 Corinthians 5:19a) “…God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.”
(Romans 4:8) “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”
(Hebrews 8:12) “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.
BEAR IN MIND THAT IN CHRIST, WE ARE NOT UNDER LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE (NEW COVENANT); FOR THIS REASON, SIN CANNOT EXERCISE DOMINION OVER US. HOWEVER, THIS TRUTH DOES NOT GIVE US LIBERTY TO COMMIT SIN.
(Romans 6:14-15) “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!”
GRACE IS A GOOD TEACHER!
(Titus 2:11-13) For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
(Titus 2:14) WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR US, THAT HE MIGHT REDEEM US FROM EVERY LAWLESS DEED AND PURIFY FOR HIMSELF HIS OWN SPECIAL PEOPLE, ZEALOUS FOR GOOD WORKS.
GRACE IS UNDESERVED, UNMERITED, UNEARNED FAVOR!
(Ephesians 2:8) “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
IT’S ABOUT JESUS!
