UNDER GRACE (NEW COVENANT), GOD REWARDS US FOR THE WORK THAT HE HIMSELF HAS GIVEN THE GRACE TO ACCOMPLISH. YOU SEE, IN CHRIST, GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE GOOD WORKS FOR US TO DO. HE ALSO GIVES US THE WILLINGNESS AND THE PERFORMANCE OF IT. (Php 2:13) “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose”
(Eph 2:10) “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
THE APOSTLE PAUL FOR INSTANCE, WORKED HARDER THAN ANY OTHER APOSTLES, AND YET, HE SAID, “YET NOT I, BUT THE GRACE OF GOD THAT WAS WITH ME.” (1Cor 15:10) “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”
IN CHRIST, EACH OF US RECEIVED GRACE (GIFT OF GRACE) AS CHRIST APPORTIONED IT. (Eph 4:7) “But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.”
HOWEVER, IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE FOR US TO RECEIVE THE GRACE OF GOD IN VAIN. THIS MEANS THAT ALTHOUGH GOD HAS GIFTED YOU ON CERTAIN AREAS BUT DO NOT BOTHER TO USE IT OR CULTIVATE IT.
ON THAT GROUND, YOU HAVE RECEIVED GOD’S GRACE IN VAIN.
(2Cor 6:1) “As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.”
IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO EXCEL IN MANY OTHER GRACE-GIFTS AND YET FAIL IN THE GRACE OF GIVING. FOR THIS REASON WE ARE ALSO ADMONISHED TO EXCEL IN THE GRACE OF GIVING!
(2Co 8:7) But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
BEAR IN MIND THAT IT IS GOD GIVE US THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE WEALTH.
(Deut. 8:18) “Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”
Please bear with me for using all capital letters for my comments and small letters for my bible verses. You see, Facebook does not allow bold, italics or the use of different fonts. I tried using all caps for my bible verses and small letters for my comments, but it looked awkward. Thank you for your understanding.
