WHEN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST SAID, “AND I, IF I BE LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH, WILL DRAW ALL MEN UNTO ME.”
(John 12:32) “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” (Kjv)
NOTICE THE WORD “MEN” IS IN ITALIC, IT MEANS IT IS NOT FOUND IN THE ORIGINAL GREEK TEXT.
INSTEAD, IT SHOULD READ: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto me”
THE “ALL” IN CONTEXT, REFERS TO “JUDGMENT.”
(John 12:31) “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”
IN OTHER WORDS, WHEN THE LORD WAS CRUCIFIED (LIFTED UP FROM THE EARTH) HE DREW ALL “JUDGMENT” UNTO HIMSELF. AT THE CROSS, CHRIST WAS LIKE A LIGHTING ROD THAT ABSORBED ALL THE FIRE OF GOD’S JUDGMENT.
(John 12:31-33) “Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.”
GOD IMPUTED ALL OUR SINS (FROM CRADLE TO THE GRAVE) ON CHRIST’S BODY ON THE CROSS AND RECEIVED GOD’S RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION AND PUNISHMENT FOR ALL OUR SINS. HE RECEIVED GOD’S WRATH AND ANGER IN HIS BODY AND SETTLED ALL OUR DEBTS LEGALLY, JUSTLY, AND RIGHTEOUSLY!
(Isa 53:5-6, 10a) “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed…………and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all……yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him and cause him to suffer.”
BECAUSE CHRIST FULLY PAID ALL THE VIOLATED LAWS OF GOD AND SATISFIED GOD’S JUSTICE, GOD IS NOT COUNTING SINS AGAINST THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST. (2Cor 5:19a) “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.”
WHAT GOD PROMISED TO DO, WHEN HE MAKES A NEW COVENANT IS NOW A REALITY FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS TO ENJOY.
(Heb 8:12) “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more.”
(Heb 8:13) “By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.”
Please bear with me for using all capital letters for my comments and small letters for my bible verses. You see, Facebook does not allow bold, italics or the use of different fonts. I tried using all caps for my bible verses and small letters for my comments, but it looked awkward. Thank you for your understanding.
