GOD’S PERFECT TIMING

GOD’S PERFECT TIMING

Do I trust God and His timing?

A. KEY BIBLE VERSE
“But when the FULLNESS OF TIME had come, God sent forth His Son, born of woman, born under the law.”
− (Galatians 4:4, ESV)

B. REFLECTION:
Am I tired of waiting for harvest time in my life?
Do I trust God’s perfect timing in my life, OR do I sometimes doubt and think that “I know better” than Him?
Do I not believe that He is absolutely precise in His timing?
Am I oftentimes frustrated, crying out, and tempted to ask “When, Lord, when?”

C. ACTION POINT:
I may have my own plans for myself, but God knows better — I must grow in the area of TRUSTING GOD rather than questioning “When?”

I need to perceive that God’s timing in my life is oftentimes hard to grasp and understand; He doesn’t do things on my own timetable. But His Word promises that “He will NEVER be late, not one single day.”(Habakkuk 2:3)
God always makes everything happen at the RIGHT TIME — in the fullness of His time. His awesome perfect record of precise timing should be enough to remind me that He is all-knowing and that I should never doubt Him.

To have faith in God is to also have faith in His timing. I will find joy and peace in the Lord and praise JESUS, for His TIMING in my life is always…PERFECT! 🙏

GRACE and GOOD WORKS

GRACE and GOOD WORKS

Grace and Good Works are 2 sides of the same coin. They go together.

Only by Grace (through faith) will get us to Heaven, while Good Works will get us Rewards/Crowns in Heaven.

Eph 2:8-10 NET 8 For by GRACE you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 it is not from works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for GOOD WORKS that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.

Therefore, our two (2) key Goals while we still live here on Earth are:

1. To surely get to Heaven someday, forever – via God’s Grace alone through Faith in Jesus Christ only,

Joh 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVEth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

AND

2. To get Commendation and eternal Rewards/Crowns in Heaven from our Lord God Jesus Christ – via our Good Works here on Earth.

Mat 25:21 NET His master answered, ‘WELL DONE, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I WILL PUT YOU IN CHARGE OF MANY THINGS. Enter into the joy of your master.’

REMEMBER, God’s primary business here on Earth is to win souls of men and women for His kingdom. Let us therefore, share the Gospel of God’s Grace, make Disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28: 19-20) who will also make Disciples in the future, while waiting for the Blessed Hope – when glorious Jesus Christ comes to bring us to Heaven, each of us with a glorified body, soul and spirit. (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18).

IN SUM, you and I are SAVED by God’s GRACE, and you and I are eternally REWARDED by God for our GOOD WORKS here on Earth.

To GOD Be All Glory!

ETERNAL GOAL

ETERNAL GOAL

Would you be a well done, good and faithful Servant?

A. KEY BIBLE VERSE

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’”
(Matthew 25:21, NIV)

 B. REFLECTION:
Do I think of the day that I will stand before God and answer for what I did with the talents He gave me?
And what words do I hope to hear Him say to me on that day?
What must I do so that I may someday hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant” when I arrive in heaven?

C. ACTION POINT:
Someday in heaven, I long to hear those words from JESUS’ lips. No true servant of the Lord could ask for more.
I will faithfully serve God and my fellow believers with the gifts He has blessed me with. I will be more committed and devoted in serving the Servant King… by serving others.

I will live intentionally and with purpose so that I can be prepared, so that God will one day welcome me as a good and faithful servant, to share in His JOY forever.

My faithfulness doesn’t depend on how little or how much I have, but what I do with it. It doesn’t matter how small my gift is, but what matters is that I continue to FAITHFULLY SERVE a big God as I heed my Savior’s call.
I will serve the LORD with gladness (Psalm 100:2). I shall aspire to be a good steward today, and tomorrow and every day.

I am entrusted now with little, but soon, very soon, MUCH IS COMING! 🙏

JESUS’ RESURRECTION

JESUS’ RESURRECTION

What’s my eternal HOPE?

A. KEY BIBLE VERSE
“JESUS said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies'”
–(John 11:25, NASB)

B. REFLECTION:
How have I “resurrected” from my past life since I committed my life to JESUS?
How does the resurrection of JESUS give me hope in the midst of my troubles?
How does JESUS being Alive and Almighty change my thoughts, actions, and attitude?

C. ACTION POINT:
More than 2000 years ago, JESUS gave up His life on the cross, and His death signified our salvation. But just as important as His death is His resurrection when He rose from the grave 3 days later.

What does the resurrection mean? It means that JESUS is alive! It proves His claims of being the Son of God and Messiah, it displays His divine powers, and it fulfills many promises from the Old Testament.

Why does the resurrection matter? Because it proves that JESUS is almighty! He who has sovereignty over life and death can surely do so much more. Therefore I can trust and be at peace knowing that the almighty God is in control of my life — He forgives my past, He controls my present, and He secures my future. In Him do I find all hope to press on.

No matter what mistakes I have made in the past, what problems I am experiencing in the present, or what fears I may have about the future, I know that I can put my trust in God for He is my living hope and His promises are true.

I will give my life in faith and repentance to the risen Christ who triumphed over death, trust in Him for my salvation, and patiently wait for the sure hope of eternal glory with Him.

JESUS is the resurrection and the life — He is ALIVE, He is ALMIGHTY, and He is the reason for my HOPE! 🙏

P.S. Remember, without the Empty Tomb, the Excruciating Cross is meaningless.

IT IS FINISHED!

IT IS FINISHED!

Do I really believe that my salvation – my going home to Heaven – is already a done deal or it is finished?

A. KEY BIBLE VERSE
“He (JESUS) said, ‘It is FINISHED!’. And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”
–(John 19:30, NASB)

B. REFLECTION:
Do I truly understand the real meaning and significance of JESUS’ finished work at the cross?
What did JESUS mean when He uttered the words “It is finished”?
Do I see the “finished work of JESUS”, or do I see work that is yet to be completed?

C. ACTION POINT:
God the Son says, “It is Finished!” God the Father says, “It is Done!” (Rev 16:17)
I will always be reminded that whatever I desperately need God to do for me, it has already been “done” because JESUS has accomplished it all for me at the cross.

The sacrifice of JESUS speaks of relationship, a “divine exchange” that happened when He died — He took my place at the Cross.
JESUS was:
-wounded that I might be healed
-rejected that I might be accepted
-cursed that I might be blessed
-bore my sins that I might be righteous
-broken to make me whole
-died that I might LIVE!

JESUS’ work has ended, His task was accomplished, and the battle is over. He died and resurrected triumphantly and now, victory is mine. He died willingly for me, and now… I WILL LIVE FOR HIM. All Glory to JESUS! 🙏

GOD’S WILL or MAN’S WILL

GOD’S WILL or MAN’S WILL

Whose Will would you like to happen in your life?

A. KEY BIBLE VERSE
“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but Yours be done.”
–(Luke 22:42, NIV)

B. REFLECTION:
Am I praying in accordance with the Heavenly Father’s will, OR in accordance with what I want?
Like JESUS, am I willing to depend and submit entirely, moment by moment to the will of God as revealed in His Word?
Do I seek God’s will and willingly align all my desires in full submission to His will?

C. ACTION POINT:
Though it may be easier and more convenient, I will not pursue my preferred action if it violates God’s will and Word.
If I truly trust God, I will have the strength to let go of my wants and passions, and believe that His will is PERFECT, RIGHT, and the very BEST thing for me.
I will resist the urge to pray for my desires, and make sure that my prayers are always in alignment with God’s Word, in which I may be able to find His perfect will. My prayers should always be in submission to His will.
Lord, I embrace Your plans and purposes, and lay down my own for not my will— BUT YOUR’S BE DONE! 🙏
NOTE: In the final reckoning, there are only 2 kinds of people:
1. Those who say to God, “Lord, your will be done!”
AND
2. Those whom God says to them, “Your will be done!”
