MATTHEW, IN HIS GOSPEL QUOTED “ISAIAH 40:3” TO SHOW THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS THE FULFILLMENT OF THIS PROPHECY; THE ONE PREPARING THE WAY FOR THE LORD.
(Mat 3:1) In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea
(Mat 3:2) and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
(Mat 3:3) This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the desert, “Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'”

HOWEVER, IF WE GO TO THE BOOK OF ISAIAH CHAPTER FORTY VERSE THREE, THE ENGLISH WORD “LORD” IN THE ORIGINAL HEBREW IS ACTUALLY “YAHWEH” AND NOT “ADONAI” THE USUAL HEBREW WORD FOR LORD.
(Isa 40:3) A voice of one calling: “In the desert prepare the way for the LORD (YAHWEH); make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God (ELOHIM).

IN REALITY, THE ONE WHO CAME IN A FORM OF A MAN IS ACTUALLY GOD. IN FACT, JOHN IN HIS GOSPEL CONFIRMED IT.
(Joh 1:1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
(Joh 1:14) The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

NO WONDER, OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALSO CALLED “IMMANUEL” WHICH MEANS “GOD WITH US”!
(Mat 1:23) “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT IN CHRIST, YOU ARE NEVER ALONE; GOD IS WITH YOU AND WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!
