THE FIRST WAS, FOR US TO HAVE THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION IN ORDER TO KNOW JESUS BETTER.
(Eph 1:17) I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION, so that you may know him better.

THE SECOND WAS, FOR THE EYES OF OUR HEARTS BE ENLIGHTENED IN ORDER THAT WE MAY KNOW THE HOPE TO WHICH HE HAS CALLED US, THE RICHES OF HIS GLORIOUS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS, AND HIS INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE.
(Eph 1:18-19a) I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

THE THIRD WAS, FOR US TO HAVE A FULL GRASP OF HOW WIDE AND LONG AND HIGH AND DEEP IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST THAT WE MAY BE FILLED TO THE MEASURE OF ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.
(Eph 3:17b-19) “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

SALVATION IS NEVER ABOUT YOUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, BUT ABOUT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT GOD FREELY GIVES TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN CHRIST JESUS.
(Rom 3:20) Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
(Rom 3:21-23) “But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

NOT ONLY DO WE RECEIVE THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST, BUT WE ARE MADE HOLY AS WELL AND BECOME PART OF GOD’S FAMILY; SO JESUS OUR LORD IS NOT ASHAMED TO CALL US BROTHERS.
(Hebrews 2:11) “Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.”

The law is not made for the righteous

THE LAW IS NOT MADE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS BUT FOR THE UNRIGHTEOUS AND FOR ANYTHING THAT IS CONTRARY TO SOUND DOCTRINE ACCORDING TO THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF THE BLESSED GOD (Gal 1:11-12/ Act 20:24) WHICH WAS COMMITTED TO THE APOSTLE PAUL’S TRUST.
(1Tim 1:9-11) knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, AND IF THERE IS ANY OTHER THING THAT IS CONTRARY TO SOUND DOCTRINE, ACCORDING TO THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF THE BLESSED GOD WHICH WAS COMMITTED TO MY TRUST.

FURTHERMORE, WHATEVER THE LAW SAYS, IT SAYS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW, THAT EVERY MOUTH MAY BE STOPPED, AND THE WHOLE WORLD MAY BECOME GUILTY BEFORE GOD.
(Rom 3:19) “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.”

BUT GLORY TO GOD BECAUSE IN CHRIST, WE ARE NOT UNDER LAW BUT UNDER GRACE (NEW COVENANT OF GRACE); AND FOR THIS REASON, SIN CANNOT EXERCISE DOMINION OVER US.
(Rom 6:14-15) For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

THREE QUESTIONS:

ARE YOU MADE RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST? ____________ (Rom 4:3-5, 5:19, 10:4)

DO YOU KNOW THE SOUND DOCTRINE THAT WAS ENTRUSTED BY JESUS TO THE APOSTLE PAUL? _____________ (Gal 1:11-12/ Act 20:24)

ARE YOU UNDER LAW IN CHRIST? ______________ (Gal 3:23-26)

IF I SAY TO A BROTHER THAT THERE IS NOW NO CONDEMNATION (Rom 8:1) TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, ALMOST IMMEDIATELY THE RESPONSE WILL BE A JOYFUL AMEN! ON THE OTHER HAND, IF YOU TELL HIM THE GOSPEL TRUTH THAT IN CHRIST, GOD IS NOT COUNTING SINS AGAINST US ANYMORE, UNBELIEF IS AN ALMOST CERTAIN RESPONSE YOU WILL RECEIVE.
(2Cor 5:19a) “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.”

NOTICE WHAT ONE OF THE NEW COVENANT TENETS SAYS:
(Heb 8:12) “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

DAVID ALSO SPOKE OF THE BLESSEDNESS OF A MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NEVER COUNT AGAINST HIM.
(Rom 4:6) David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
(Rom 4:7) “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
(Rom 4:8) Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.”

CHRIST HAS RECONCILED US TO GOD THROUGH HIS SACRIFICIAL DEATH ON THE CROSS IN ORDER TO PRESENT US HOLY IN HIS SIGHT, WITHOUT BLEMISH AND FREE FROM ACCUSATION.
(Col 1:21-22) “Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation”
