THE APOSTLE PAUL THROUGH THE INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ADMONISHED THE BELIEVERS IN ROME TO TAKE NOTE OF THOSE WHO CAUSED DIVISIONS AND OFFENSES, THOSE WHO TAUGHT DOCTRINE CONTRARY TO WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED. REMEMBER, THE DOCTRINE TAUGHT BY THE APOSTLE PAUL AND HIS GROUP TO THE GENTILES WAS THE “GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE” (Gal 1:11-12/Acts 20:24) THAT CHRIST REVEALED TO HIM.
(Rom 16:17) Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
(Rom 16:18) For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

IT WOULD BE WISE FOR US TO TAKE HEED OF WHAT THE APOSTLE PAUL SAID TO THE BELIEVERS IN ROME, AFTER ALL, GOD APPOINTED HIM TO BE AN APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES (Rom 11:13) AND A TEACHER OF TRUE FAITH TO THE GENTILES.
(1Tim 2:7) “And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a teacher of the true faith to the Gentiles.”

IN FACT, TO PRESERVE THE PURITY OF THE DOCTRINE OF GRACE REVEALED BY CHRIST TO HIM, HE PRONOUNCED AN “ANATHEMA” TO ANYONE WHO WILL TEACH A DOCTRINE CONTRARY TO WHAT THEY TAUGHT.
(Gal 1:8) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema).
(Gal 1:9) As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed (anathema).

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!
